We rely on the generosity of organisations to fund our work. Our rare disease charity is building a rare community with patient groups at its heart through our community projects, drug repurposing initiatives and patient group trainings. Our patient group trainings help rare disease support groups form, grow and professionalise. We help patient advocacy groups to grow in skill, knowledge and confidence so that they become strong partners in research and effective advocates for their condition. Our trainings have successfully transformed countless patient groups into self-assured experts who offer immense value to industry, pharma and healthcare professionals.

If your organisation wants to be patient-centric and deliver services that meet the needs of rare individuals, then we highly encourage you to get involved in our work and mission. In doing so, you’ll reinforce your position as a vital player in the rare disease space and raise the profile of your company in the life-sciences sector. You have the power to transform the lives of those living with rare disease. Ensure that we continue to do the same with our work through corporate donations.

Discover our corporate giving opportunities below to learn how you can bring hope to millions of people around the world. Whether you’d like to pledge financial support or offer your time, services and resources, we would be incredibly grateful to have your generous backing. To discuss potential funding opportunities, please email our Fundraising Manager, Laura at laura@rarebeacon.org

She’d be happy to walk you through our projects and explain how you can support them!

Our ongoing collaboration has been, and continues to be, exceptionally rewarding and our staff that volunteer to work on this project obtain immense job satisfaction from the opportunity. It is a true pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic and passionate charity, who are playing an instrumental role in promoting collaboration and developing treatments for patients with rare diseases.

Sponsorship

Interested in getting involved in our rare community projects? Sponsor a project or event today! Every Beacon event and project promotes cross-sector collaboration to encourage new ideas to be shared amongst the community. By uniting rare stakeholders, we are raising the profile of rare disease as a whole.

If you’re interested in becoming an official project or event sponsor, email our Head of Operations, Mary Rose to discuss sponsorship opportunities. We offer a range of sponsorship packages to ensure that we meet your needs and corporate objectives.

Trusts & Foundations

We thoroughly enjoy partnering with charitable trusts and foundations that believe in our work. Community grants, lottery funding and local grants all help us to continue our vital work. No one should face their rare journey alone. Trust and foundation giving helps to ensure that no one does. To discuss grants and funding opportunities, please email our Fundraising Manager, Laura. She’d be happy to hear from you!

Help us show rare disease patients, families and patient groups that they are not alone. Together with your funding, we’ll light the way forward and shine a light on rare disease.
