We don’t know about you, but we had an udderly fantastic Bank Holiday!
You may have seen the Cows about Cambridge and walked their moo-vellous art trail, but what you may not have known is that our Projects Coordinator, Philippa Norman, entered a competition to win one of their mini moos!
Phil designed a mini moo that was covered in rare disease facts and Findacure branding. She raised rare disease awareness in one of our most memorable ways yet and…WON THE COMPETITION!
We couldn’t be prouder of her intitivative or creative technique. The team plans to decorate its winning mini moo according to her design and raise rare disease awareness in our home town of Cambridge.
Here is what Phil had to say about winning this year’s competition!
“I was over the MOOooon when I found out about Findacure winning the competition. I think it is so important to find new and exciting ways to raise awareness of rare diseases and the impact they have on individuals and families across the UK and world with the general public. Cambridge is such an important hub for research and support for these communities, so it’s great to be able to spread the word locally, even in a mini way!”
