We are pleased to announce that the winners of the 2018 Student Voice essay competition have now been published!
Three essays have been published on BMC’s On Medicine blog, as part of their Rare Disease Day celebrations, with the overall winner published as an open access article in Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases.
You can follow the links below to read of the published pieces. Please share them widely and download our winning entry to ensure that the student voice on rare diseases is spread as widely as possible.
Congratulations to all of our winners and a huge thank you to our partners, Medics4RareDiseases and Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases, all our judges, and of course fantastic sponsors, Linguamatics, Dolon, Costello and TranScrip, for their support.
Finally you can also read Timothy Badcock’s special award winning piece – What can future doctors learn from patients with rare diseases? – in the On Medicine blog.
