It’s been a month full of change for our Findacure team!
Firstly, we are delighted to announce Mary Rose Roberts, previously our Events Manager, is now Findacure’s Head of Operations. Mary Rose now leads on the strategy and development of our Empowerment programme, as well as continuing production of our annual Drug Repurposing Conference and the Rare Disease Showcase Series.
We are also excited to welcome two new members to our team! Philippa Norman, joins us as our new Projects Officer, and will be supporting our Empowerment Programme, producing educational materials and online resources for our patient group beneficiaries. Laura Thompson-Harper, our new Fundraising Manager, who will be working to secure funds to continue our important work in the rare disease community.
Finally, we are sad to announce the departure of our Communications Officer, Taryn Hubbard. After six months with the team, Taryn will be moving on to a new venture and we all wish her the very best of luck in her next role.
