We are delighted to announce that tickets have gone on sale today for our 2019 Rare Disease Showcase series. These events, which will be held this coming August and October in Cambridge and Manchester respectively, are the highlight of our social calendar and promise to be a fabulous celebration of the exceptional regional work conducted in the rare disease field.
On Thursday 8th August from 18:45-21:00, we will be at the Espresso Library in our hometown of Cambridge for an evening of relaxed and informal networking, quick-fire lightning talks, as well as a discussion of the highlights of developments in the rare disease field currently taking place in the East of England. Tickets for this event cost £10 for academics and clinicians and £20 for industry. Attendees can look forward to delicious canapes and refreshments!
If Cambridge is too far for you to travel, then fear no more as we have you covered! Two months later, on Tuesday 8th October from 10:00-16:00, we’re hitting the road to travel up to the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester for a day-long session which will give attendees the opportunity to hear presentations led by experts from the local area, including patients, support groups, clinicians and researchers. Attendance is free for all patients, patient groups and students and early bird tickets are currently available for academics, clinicians and companies.
