RareChat is a chance to chat informally to other patient group leaders and advocates in the rare disease community. Each session will have a theme suggested by our community and a Findacure team member to chair the discussion.
The aim is simple – to provide you with a chance to stay connected with the wider rare disease community and share experiences and ideas during lockdown.
The second edition of RareChat will focus on Community Fundraising and lockdown and will be held at 2pm on Wednesday 20th May.
In our second session the focus of the discussion will be fundraising – we know that many small patient groups rely on community fundraising to deliver their projects and services, and the covid-19 pandemic has closed this down. We would like to discuss the fundraising challenge groups are facing. What ideas have you had to encourage digital fundraising from your community? Have any been successful? What other funding raising routes are you exploring during these challenging times?
