Volunteers can be a huge asset to any charitable organisation. Having individuals who are willing to devote their time and energy free of charge can make all the difference to a group’s ability to get things done. For rare disease groups, many of whom run their organisation alone while also living with a disorder themselves or with caring responsibilities, having an extra pair of hands is invaluable. However, before you can tap into this resource you have to find people who want to volunteer and who possess the skills your organisation needs.
This webinar will focus on the practical ways in which you can successfully recruit new volunteers and how to manage and retain these individuals. We will hear from expert trainer Dan O’Driscoll who will cover these important topics and take us through the life cycle of a volunteer.
